What is Vitamin K?
Vitamin K refers to a group of nutrients, vitamin K1 and vitamin K2. Vitamin K1 is phylloquinone and can be found in plant foods, especially leafy greens. Vitamin K2’s other name is menaquinone – it is present in meat, dairy products such as milk and cheese, and eggs.
