What Is Spondylosis?

Spondylosis is a pa­thological lesion involving bony and disc structures within the spine. The lesions affect the vertebrae and intervertebral discs, the cartilage and joint structures of the spine, and its ligamentous system. Due to dehydration, the ­intervertebral discs lose their elasticity and reduce their height. As a result of these changes, the spine loses its stability, which causes discopathy.
