What Are Figs?
Figs are fruits that grow on trees. Fig is extensively cultivated in regions ranging from European Asia to Northern India. Yet, due to the warm climate, it is also cultivated in most Mediterranean countries. The fig is a pear-shaped fruit that varies from green to yellow to deep purple when mature.
