What Is Acai?
Acai is a fruit found on palms grown in tropical areas. The acai palm grows in South America, among other places. The fruit is also known as acai berries because the shape and color of the fruit are similar to a berry. Interestingly, the fruit has become more and more popular in recent years. Its color is dark purple and quite resilient to the touch. The taste is quite sour, with no distinct sweet flavor. Due to the characteristics of the taste, the fruit has been used less for eating than for its medical properties.
